Feel Younger - By Choice

How do we keep ourselves young, or at least slow down the aging process. There is a multitude of nutritional supplements available to us, to slow down the process, and possibly reverse some adverse conditions that come with age. I will talk about some of them her. If you have a medical condition (diabetes, heart disease, etc. ), check with your health care professional, before beginning a new program of supplements of exercise.

RNA and DNA are the building blocks of life. over the long haul, damage may have occurred in our body. Replacing RNA and DNA can be helpful in rebuilding damaged tissue and cells. Oral and sublingual forms are available. The sublingual spray has been shown to be absorbed up to 90% by this method, whereas, as little as 3% of the oral has shown to be absorbed.

DHEA is a chemical that is abundant in our systems, when we are young. After the age of 30 the production of this substance drastically drops. Taking DHEA has been shown to help boost the immune system efficiency. It also is helpful in diabetes.

Hyaluronic Acid is another chemical which diminishes as we get older. It is abundant in our eyeballs. It aids in cushioning our joints. And, hyaluronic acid helps keep the skin young and pliable.

Antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, co-enzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid, beta carotene, folic acid, zinc, and selenium, are powerful agents in keeping our body healthy. Herbs, such as, green tea extract, milk thistle, bromelain, cranberry powder extract, rosemary extract, grapeseed extract, gingko bilabo, ginger root, hawthorn berry, bilberry, zeaxanthin, lutein, also aid in the anti-aging process.

Attitude has much to do with aging faster or slower. Socialize with people who think younger. Do not let other drag you down. Feel and experience the good things in your life. Really, feel them in your soul and spirit. Do not let them pass you by. God has put them there, just for you.

Exercise is important to keeping the body vital and young. Do not restrict yourself to one type of exercise. Variety is better. Walking or jogging is good for your cardiovascular system. weight training helps make your body structure strong ( the skeletal system and muscular system and your core ). stretching increases your flexibility. Yoga,Tai Chi, and other of this type of exercise, increases your flexibility and strengthens your core. All of these done in moderation can help keep the aches and pains associated with aging at bay.

Relax. This is very important. learn to relax. learn to meditate, to block out the nuisances of the outside world. Meditation does not have to be done in the seated lotus position. Just relax in your favorite chair and think about nothing. A massage chair may be a good investment. This will allow you to relax and the massage action will stimulate blood flow at the same time.

Enjoy your years, Enjoy your time. Look your best. Feel your best. Life is an experience to be experienced and cherished.

XBox Game Violence vs Pocket PC Pacifism

news of grisly XBox-related killings is rapidly making the rounds within the relatively docile Pocket PC game community.

The MSNBC site recently outlined the jury's recommendations for six people killed over an xbox-related dispute in Florida.

After being evicted from the lodging where he had been squatting with his friends, Troy Victorino, 29, plotted revenge.

He returned with a couple of friends armed with baseball bats, where they summarily set about bludgeoning six other young people to death.

The most telling aspect of this unfortunate tale is that this was sparked by the property owner's 22-year-old granddaughter.

She made the unlucky decision to hold on to the assailant's xbox after having them turfed from the property, adding insult to injury.

Curiously, it was this last slight that proved to be the proverbial last straw and not Victorino's sudden social shift to homeless hobo.

The costly consoles typically sold for around $200.00 CAD at the time of these slayings.

Some may say it was small wonder that this would serve as a catalyst for grisly, unadulterated video game related horror.

If you typically fall prey to politician-like spurious leaps in logic, you'll be counting down the days to an xbox 360 related incident as prices for this Cadillac of consoles soar into the stratosphere.

In Toronto it's retailing for $399.00 CAD at my local best Buy outlet.

It's just enough to expedite the trip from mild mannered Pocket PC game geek to drooling chainsaw-wielding psycho after considering PST and GST taxes.

You may recall that 360 console prices in the thousands of dollars posted on ebay during the initial release of this game system.

microsoft had struggled to keep pace with demand due to an unfortunate decision to start manufacturing en masse 69 days prior to release.

This led to ludicrosity in the form of violence-inducing ebay prices with units going for as much as $2500 CAD.

Stories of XBox crashes and overheating were just beginning to surface as I detailed in an earlier article.

What concerns me most are the spurious, irrational conclusions that are sure to follow. You're most likely familiar with the old, tired dogma linking violent video games to scenes right out of Tarantino's Hostel.

I'm not one to be a hypocrite about these things. I've played games in the gruesome genre, including some memorable spine-ripping finishing moves in mortal kombat or some frighteningly authentic execution-style kills in hitman.

If you frequent my site you may have noticed that there is a distinctive lack of violent Pocket PC games reviewed.

This is hardly an accident as you'll be hard-pressed to find any for this platform, save for Killer Instinct Pocket PC emulator sessions.

As far as the Pocket PC game demographic is concerned, we're emulating the European mindset.

Developers generally eschew gory PDA game violence but can still encounter erotic PDA game downloads like the sexy Strip Teaser PPC game download over at the Softpedia site.

Solving puzzles in this game allows you to pause, play and rewind various striptease videos, presumably during covert corporate bathroom breaks.

I can accurately discern between real-life and virtual violence in my permanent starring turn as a pacifistic Pocket PC pansy. Maybe I'm a bit of a deviant.

just the same, I don't think I'll be doling out $500 CAD for an xbox 360 right now. Microsoft's one fingered salute in the form of one wireless controller may just lead to beserker rage.

Warm Sesame-Oil Massage: A Yummy Yoga Treat! (And Great Way of Calming Vata)

The art & science of Ayurveda (a close cousin to Yoga) perceives, maps & speaks of the human body in terms of the three Doshas ~ Vata, Pitta and Kapha ~ each of which governs a different aspect of our lived experience. Though all three Doshas operate within every (living) person, each of us manifests a unique (and ever-changing) combination of their attributes. The predominant pattern of this combination within us gives rise to what is known as our Tri-Dosha type, or constitution.

The Vata Dosha, which will be the focus of this article, corresponds to the elements space and air. As such, it governs all movement in our human physiology, from the subtle, fleeting movement of thoughts across the screen of our mind, to the coursing of blood through our arteries and veins, to the movements of our limbs and pranic body in a yoga asana practice. The Vata Dosha can be, within this system, divided further into five sub-doshas, each of which represents the functioning of Vata in a specific part of the body. These sub-categories (which correspond to Yogic divisions of Prana) are: prana, udana, vyana, samana & apana.

When Vata is in balance, we are alert and spontaneous in our mental, emotional & physical movements. Our intelligence is active in a relaxed and fluid way. We are spacious without being spaced out.

When Vata is out of balance, we manifest symptoms such as: worry, stress, anxiety, fatigue, an over-active mind, restlessness, agitation, difficulty sleeping and mood swings. There are also physical symptoms of out-of-balance Vata, such as dry skin or constipation though my focus here is more on the emotional/mental aspects. [Just an aside: these are symptoms which are often given, within western medicine, the diagnosis of ADD or adhd hmmm ]

So how do we bring an out-of-balance Vata back into balance? Ayurvedic suggestions for doing this include:

(1)Maintaining a regular daily routine with respect to meal-times, exercise & relaxation, and sleeping times. Early to bed & early to rise tends to be best for Vata and if youre having trouble sleeping, try drinking a cup of warm milk with a pinch of ground nutmeg, right before bed.
(2)Eating warm cooked meals (as opposed to cold or raw foods) which include oils (e.g. ghee or sesame or sunflower oil) and/or oily foods (e.g. nuts, seeds, olives, avocados).
(3)Living in a warm moist climate with lots of fresh air and sunshine (e.g. Hawaii or at the least, buy a humidifier!).
(4)Wearing clothing that is either warm (e.g. red, orange, yellow) or calming (e.g. green) in color.
(5)Choosing for leisure calming activities such as walks in nature or parks (see my previous post on Walking Meditation!)
(6)Treating yourself to a warm oil massage the really yummy thing which will now be described in a bit more detail

A delightful way of calming an out-of-balance Vata is to give yourself a warm-oil massage. The oil that is best to use for Vata imbalance is sesame oil (organic un-roasted cold-pressed is the very best). So buy yourself some oil; warm up about 1/3rd cup or so (in a small pan on your stove, medium heat); turn up the heat in your house; spread a large towel or a sheet on the floor; and then ~ from head to foot (including your hair and scalp!) ~ work the warm oil into your skin, using circular massage-strokes. When youve finished, cover up so that you stay really warm, and let the oil soak into your skin for a half-hour at least. After youve relaxed like this for a half-hour or hour, then take a warm shower, washing off any excess oil (which hasnt by this time been absorbed into your skin). Apply a light moisturizing lotion after the shower (to seal the oil thats already there) and notice how you feel!

If you do this weekly or even daily, when youre experiencing Vata-imbalance symptoms, youll very likely notice a shift notice the balanced-Vata qualities of relaxed alertness and joyful spontaneity emerging once again.

Enjoy!

And to end (this article, and begin the rest of your day), what feels to me to be a very Vata poem (you can decide if its balanced or imbalanced!) by the great Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore (from his Gitanjali):

I am like a remnant of a cloud of autumn uselessly roaming in the sky, O my sun ever-glorious! Thy touch has not yet melted my vapour, making me one with thy light, and thus I count months and years separated from thee.

If this be thy wish and if this be thy play, than take this fleeting emptiness of mine, paint it with colours, gild it with gold, float it on the wanton wind and spread it in varied wonders.

And again when it shall be thy wish to end this play at night, I shall melt and vanish away in the dark, or it may be in a smile of the white morning, in a coolness of purity transparent.

Download Xbox 360 Games Quickly & Easily

Have you ever wondered how to download xbox 360 games? If so you aren't alone. Many games industry experts would have us believe that downloading our media directly is the way forward, so check out the rest of this article to find out exactly how to go about it.

Now before you go download crazy, there are a few things you need to beware of. Knowing these facts will keep you out of jail!

First of all, make sure you know the law. There are a lot of sites out there which market themselves as a legal direct downnload site for you to download xbox 360 games from, and you'll find that some of them aren't quite as legal as they make out to be. If you are in any doubt about this at all, check out the laws in your country or territory-it's really not worth going to jail over a few games is it?

Another good idea is to be careful of the websites you use. As internet usage and popularity increases, so too does the number of hackers and spammers etc looking for access to your system. It's very important to keep your system up to date with the latest versions of your anti-virus and firewall software for this very reason. You can also minimize the risk here by steering clear of shady sites, and only using the best and most reputable (more on this later). It will be hard to download xbox 360 games if your computer gets ruined by some hacker!

The last thing is to know what to expect when you find the right kind of site-how to tell the real deal. First of all, the genuine sites will ask you for some money up front. A lot of them these days offer unlimited downloads for a flat rate, so for example if you pay $40 or $50, you can then download as many xbox 360 games as you want, which is obviously a pretty good deal. If you can find the correct site, you'll quite often find that they will also let you download all kinds of other bits and pieces too, wallpapers, homebrew stuff, basically anything you can buy in stores for the 360.

This article should give you some good guidelines to help you download xbox 360 games safely. Check out the links below to find the safest download sites.

Choosing the Right Golf Carts

Depending on which courses you are playing, renting a golf cart may make getting from one hole to another much easier. Because golf courses can be spread out over many acres of land, golf carts make transporting people, golf equipment, and other items more enjoyable than having to carry them from hole to hole. Because golfers want to spend the majority of their time on the course golfing instead of walking, renting a cart is advised.

If you are playing on a smaller course, you may not need to rent a cart. Carrying your equipment or renting a small push cart may be all you will need. These carts, even though they are small, can carry a lot of weight, so dont worry about not being able to fit all of your stuff into it. Small groups should consider renting push carts for each player so that it is easy to get from one hole to another. Some golf bags have wheels on them for courses like these, so you may not have to rent any type of cart at all.

Those who golf often and those who live on or near golf courses will sometimes buy their own golf carts and keep them at their homes. This is very convenient for those who golf everyday. When purchasing a golf cart, find one that is large enough for your needs and one that has an extensive warranty because you never know what will happen in the future. Read through the warranty carefully to see if the cart needs to be taken to a specific repair shop or if you can take it anywhere for repairs.

Owning a golf cart means you need to take care of it as you would a small car. Regular oil changes, engine cleanings, and tire checks are necessary in order to keep it in good shape for a long time. You will appreciate having a golf cart when friends or family visit so you can take them golfing. cleaning the upholstery often will prevent scratches, tears, and discoloration. Store your cart in a garage or keep it covered so you dont run the exterior.

Additional accessories you may need include batteries, headlight covers, canopy covers, and additional storage for clubs, water, and other items you may want to take with you. Since a round of golf can take a few hours to complete, you should bring enough water and other items like a map of Alicante area with you so everyone will have a good time and remain hydrated.
