What Will Be the Hottest Christmas Toys of 2006?

The hottest Christmas toys for 2006 will soon be hitting the shelves, and some are already on them. Remember the Furby, Tickle-Me Elmo, Beanie Babies and Cabbage patch Kids? They were the hottest Christmas toys from past holidays.

Almost every holiday season, there are a few special toys that everyone wants for Christmas -- and no one can seem to find.

If you want to make sure you have the hottest Christmas toys of 2006 under your Christmas tree, you should start thinking about shopping for them now.

Unfortunately, there's a problem -- you don't yet know what they are!

Well, I have a special "heads up" on what the hot Christmas toys of the season may be, and I'm more than willing to share the info with you. (My friends and I at WowChristmasGifts.com and ChristmasRants.com have done really well at predicting the hottest Christmas toys for the past several years.)

PlayStation 3

For gamers with a big budget, the Sony PlayStation 3 is going to be number one on the wish list. Featuring internet functions and the new blu-ray technology, PlayStation 3 is like no other gaming system ever on the market.

just remember, while this is definitely going to be one of THE hottest Christmas toys of 2006, it is also going to be one of the most expensive. When the PlayStation is released this November, expect it to have a price tag of $500 to $600.

Nintendo's Wii

If you do have a gaming fan on your Christmas list but $500 is out of the question, you may want to look into Nintendo's Wii. At just $250, it's half the price of the PlayStation 3 and it is actually the very first game system ever to make it to Toys R Us's hot Toy list for 2006.

It's not hard to see why the Wii is going to be one of the hottest Christmas toys of 2006. The remote-like controller allows players to swing it like a bat, sword or tennis racket to create a truly interactive game play environment.

We predict it is also going to be a big hit with people who are not traditionally gamers, because my of the games are not the standard type of games.

Elmo TMX

Remember when Tickle Me Elmo dolls couldn't stay on the shelves for more than a moment? Remember the long lines -- and the cat fights between parents?

Well, somehow Fischer price has done it again with Elmo TMX!

Tickle Me Elmo TMX was just released this month and while parents aren't physically fighting over them this time around, the lines have been long, and the stores have been selling out as quickly as they can get them in.

You can read more about why we think Tickle Me Elmo TMX will be so popular here:

http://www.wowgiftideas.com/looking_for_tickle_me_elmo_tmx.html

Since we still have a lot of time until Christmas, it's only a sign of what's to come, and this may prove to be one of the top hottest Christmas toys this year.

Some Other Contenders

While the above three toys seem to be the most promising when it comes to the hottest Christmas toys this year, there are a few other names you should be keeping an eye on.

Some other toys that may grace the wish lists many include Webkinz, Dora's Talking Cash register and the Pink Nitro Notebook by Vtech.

This year we expect there will be hot Christmas toys for every age group, from toddler to adult. By starting your Christmas shopping early, you'll be able to find the hottest Christmas toys more easily. Happy Christmas shopping!

Lose Weight, Gain Back Your Life 2

Losing weight has nothing to do with will power or lack of. Fanatical Dieting, Emotional Eating and Conditioning are the 3 most common patterns for obesity. I have mentioned in past articles of a highly successful technique that I use with clients and in my workshops. Remembering that all you need do is to DO IT!

It often works where nothing else will, usually rapid, long lasting and gentle, no drugs or equipment involved, easily learned by anyone and can be self applied. As Emotional Eating is the second most proven reason for obesity, I think this should be the first place to start, and it may well then work on fanatical dieting and conditioning.

The method is EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE, made of a set up, basic recipe and Affirmation Statement.

THE SETUP

The most important part of the technique is the setup. To do this we say an affirmation whilst tapping or rubbing a particular spot. For the purpose of this exercise I am going to show you the karate chop set up. If you have a look at your hand, palm facing you, look at the side of the hand from the top of the pinky finger down to the wrist. Just above the wrist is a flesh part where one would normally do a karate chophave you found it. If so this is the area you will tap using your pointer and middle fingers. Okso now that we have all of that out of the way I want you to tap you karate spot for practice.

BASIC RECIPE - The Meridians

The meridians are as follow, try and find it on your body as I mention it. Practice a little so you become familiar with them.
1. Eye Brow this is the beginning of the eyebrow above the nose
2. Side of Eye this can be found the bone at the end of the eyebrow
3. Under Eye on the cheekbone under the eye
4. Under Nose- under the nose above the top lip
5. Chin the crevasse between the lower lip and the chin
6. Collar bone just under the collar bone
7. Armpit halfway down under the armpit
8. Thumb under the nail of the thumb
9. Pointer finger bottom side of the nail facing the thumb
10. Middle finger - bottom side of the nail facing the thumb
11. Little finger - bottom side of the nail facing the thumb
Repeat 1 to 7

Whilst tapping your karate spot as mentioned above you say an affirmation as listed below.

Using the Emotional Freedom Technique:

* SET UP followed by the statements below

* BASIC RECIPE

* AFFIRMATION STATEMENT

Then repeat the exercise again for each statement. You may feel you dont need to do some of the statements, however, experience has shown me from workshop participants and private clients that undertaking each one will be of great benefit. You will see that all statements starts with Even though.and ends with I deeply and completely accept myself or similar, add this ending where done is provided.

Some Safety Aspects of Planning a Camping Trip

In order to have a safe and pleasant camping trip, you need to know your limits, take the time to plan ahead, and pack the right items. You must always be prepared for the unexpected, don't be careless or take unnecessary chances, and think before you act. Never hike alone, and tell someone else about your plans. Use your common sense while you are camping, and your outdoor activities will be safe and fun.

Before you head out into the wilderness, it is a good idea to gather information about your destination. Ask park rangers about their security policies, and what wild animals may be around the area, among other subjects. Read guide books about the terrain, and talk with campers who've been there. Find out if your campsite will have riverbanks or cliffs nearby.

Find out what the weather at your destination is like. Campers often don't bring proper clothing and equipment for seasonal weather changes; and in every season, storms can blow in and out. In the spring and fall, especially on high mountains, there can be sudden shifts in temperature. Precipitation and wind cause a rapid drop in temperatures, especially at nightfall.

Wear multi-layered clothing (such as tank tops, long-sleeved shirts, and sweaters) made of polypropylene, wool, and cotton so that you can put on or take off clothing as needed. Wear breathable lightweight jackets and pants to protect yourself against rain and wind. Wear caps or hats in order to guard against the sun, as well as protect you from insects.

It is also important to watch out for excessive heat, especially if you have pre-adolescent children. Hike in the mornings or evenings on hot days and spend time in shade during the day. Wear hats, sunscreen and cotton clothes whenever you are in the sun.

You need to wear comfortable hiking shoes in order to prevent your feet from blistering; and tuck your pant cuffs into your socks and boots to protect yourself against ticks. Children need to make themselves more visible by wearing brightly colored clothes.

When you set up your campsite, watch out for broken glass and other hazardous trash. Before you put up your tent, look for signs of animal or insect use, such as yellowjacket wasp nests in the ground or plentiful berries which may mean that bears forage for food there. Clear your area of any debris, and avoid areas with overhanging branches.

Look for a clearing and for previous firepits if you want to build one. During dry seasons, and times there is a fire-hazard, use portable stoves and not campfires. Never leave a fire without someone to watch it. Make a fire ring that is surrounded by rocks, and have a bucket of water, shovel and a fire extinquisher nearby and ready to put out your fire. Only build a fire as big as you need. Make sure fires are really put out by dumping water or shoveling dirt on it when you sleep or leave your campsite and then feeling the ground around the area where the fire was to make sure it isn't warm. Be very careful with gas canisters and turn them off when not in use. Be careful not to spill fuel, use a funnel to fill the tank; and check for leakages by putting liquid soap on all connections. Keep gas canisters outside, away from any flammable items and in a well ventilated area away from other heat sources.

A successful camping trip requires planning, preparation, thought, and common sense. You need to know what kind of unexpected things can happen during your trip, and prepare for them. Always tell someone else about your plans, and never camp or hike alone. Wear appropriate clothes, stay away from wild animals, and practice good fire safety. If you do all these things, you will be certainly having a very enjoyable trip and creating wonderful memories.

Sailaway To Adventure

Have you ever dreamt about sailing away to adventure in your own sailboat and exploring the oceans of this beautiful planet of ours? The excitement, the freedom, the sheer joy of sailing and visiting the myriad exotic places along the way? Hawaii, The Caribbean, San Blas Islands, South America, The Galapagos Islands, Marquesas, French Polynesia, Tonga, and on to New Zealand and Australia. These are but a few and the list is endless.

Can you feel the excitement, following months of planning, of finally setting off on yur first pasage? The exultation of leaving port for the first time on the first leg of your adventure of a lifetime? Believe me it is a wonderful feeling setting off, knowing that you have months ahead of you to sail the oceans with absolutely no restrictions, free to sail where your fancy takes you. And, as you leave behind you, all those limitations of land living - work, the day to day affairs, traffic congestion, city living, pollution and more - a weight will lift away from you and it will be replaced, slowly at first, by a growing and wondeful sense of freedom. As you take the first drafts of fesh air deep into your lungs, filling them to the bottom, you will come to realise their is no substitute in this world for it.

If this is your dream, or you are already planning your adventure, or already doing it, then you will gain benefit from my '101 Dollar Saving Tips for Sailors'. Most of us are on a budget and would like to save where we can. My '101 Dollar Saving Tips for Sailors' could save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars during the duration of your voyage. Many of 'The Tips' are things you would never think about before setting sail, but have been gathered together during my four year voyage of sailing 'The Dream' to all the exotic destinations mentioned above.

I have two reasons for encouraging you to begin your odyssey, and the first is that so many folks spend their life dreaming about it but for a whole host of reasons, never get around to beginning. This is very sad - to miss out on one of the most wonderful life experience one could hope for just because they cannot pass that first mental hurdle - my job is to help you get over that.

Secondly, and this is tied into Global Warming and Climate Change. There may be a time coming in the future when a tip like this may be more restricted. We have little control over this in the short term, but we do know right now that we can set sail knowing the weather is still our friend, and are able to visit all of these wonderful destinations.

So now is the time to begin and start your planning - remember the great Nike tag line? 'Do it Now', don't put it off - you will never regret beginning and then you will wonder why you never started sooner.
